Spring Magic - can't decide on sashing color

I have been working on a queen size quilt top from the pattern "Fiddlesticks" by Kansas Troubles using a couple of jelly rolls from April Cornell's Spring Magic line. It's turning out so pretty! And, it makes me happy. I does indeed look like Spring. It's time to put the sashing between the rows and I just can't decide which color to use; white? spring green? rose? yellow? none of these? I guess I'll have to look at it for awhile to see if it speaks to me. Anyone have any ideas?

  1. I like the green. Would you want to try a floral that might make it more blendy?

  2. I vote the white or green but am leaning toward green. It's looking great!

  3. JUST thought I would say HELLO. I live in Lapeer but have family in Ionia. My sister owns SECOND BEGINNINGS in downtown Ionia... Love the pictures of your quilts...

Where do you find your fabrics ... I have been to Around the Block but that is the only quilt shop I know of in the Ionia area and I want to explore more ....

  4. Hi Nonnie! It's nice to "meet" you. Finding fabric in Ionia is tough! I do occasionally go to Portland to Around The Block, but I also shop at Seven Sisters in Carson City and Forever Fabrics in Greenville. When I get to the "north country", I visit my husband's nieces who own Two Sisters Quilting in Bear Lake. Too many places to spend money!
